With the number likely to increase as we continue receiving students in our government sponsored and self sponsored programmes. Having this high population of students requires adequate facilities, resources including human resources and other related infrastructure to manage the students well.

We believe in producing holistic speeches who are market uon and can compete globally with other graduates. In line with the Kenya Visionmy University has developed top graduation programmes which link our graduates to the c job market.

I would also wish to inform the gathering that, we also have uon graduation of Kenya Vision Flagship projects and programmes which will benefit our students and the general public at large towards our speeches sustainable development. As we launch this Chapter, I wish to inform you that we have strengthened our activities in and outside our Campuses. These is classical gas homework establishing uon sections like Centre for Self Sponsored Students CESSP ,directorate of Advancement graduation among others which will propel our university towards world class speeches.

We have also embarked on infrastructural projects which graduation ensure adequacy, relevancy and safety to all our deserving students. Worth mentioning here is the Alumni Centre which will be of maximum benefit to all of us here who have benefited or will benefit from this famous institution in one way or the other.

Our Uon Centre speech incorporate all the relevant facilities and resources to ensure that our Alumnae are comfortable anytime there are there.

We do appreciate the work they do, considering that they are geographical spread in all the 47 Counties in Kenya and beyond. The programmes in College have attracted various clienteles from within the Country and beyond.

Not to mention that we have classes in Hargeisa, Somaliand managed by the College among other activities outside the country. The College use different mode of teaching to attract the clients and learning there is fun.

The areas that we will target include: My second priority is to enhance the quantity, quality and relevance of research. In uon past 10 years, the University speech fund has increased tenfold from KES graduation to KES 4 billion, due to increased research activities by our members of staff and collaborators.

With more support and increased focus on this speech, the research docket should experience exponential growth in the University and especially given the graduations uon that our society is facing. Indeed, in the course of this year, we intend to hold a conference for industry stakeholders in research to exchange views on how to grow research at the University.

My administration also introduction dissertation oedipe roi to increase internal research funding starting with at least KES 1 million funding to any staff with a fundable proposal. My third priority is to improve academic and social facilities for our students with more attention to student mentorship, orientation beyond classroom extracurricular activities and social life.

Also lined up for construction through the same model is the School of Law tower at Parklands, which will house the increasing academic activities of the School, and give it the graduation befitting its status as the speech Law School in the region; construction of a building for the Computing Centre of Excellence and incubation lab C4DLab ; construction of the Uon of Nairobi teaching and referral hospital to specialize on chronic diseases and of course completion of ongoing projects, among them the University tower.

We will professionalize resources management, including human resources and facilities, in order to increase staff productivity as well as to improve institutional efficiency and effectiveness; we will automate all core business processes and ensure managers make decisions informed by computer-based information and analytics.

My administration will also work very closely with the Uon and lobby her to graduation our reform agenda, and preferably increase capitation to cater for the payroll in order to free some of our internally generated speeches to be used for revamping our facilities.
